Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
Location: Spalding.
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term.
Salary: From £440 per week

At Simply Education, we are currently seeking someone who is confident working with students in KS4 in a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) school, to lead a class. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in a SEMH school, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of the students. You will work closely with all teaching staff to create a safe and nurturing learning environment that helps students thrive academically and socially.
As a Teaching Assistant, your specialised role that involves providing support and assistance to students who have emotional and behavioural difficulties that impact their learning and well-being. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and dedicated to working with young adults aged 16-19, supporting the students with promoting life skills and independence.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supporting young adults within the community whilst they carry out work experience.
• Providing guidance within the classroom.
• Supporting young adults with their social and emotional development.
• Be able to confidentiality overcome challenging behaviour.
• Adapting to different situations that may occur.
Requirements:
• Experience with children or vulnerable young adults or in support/care industries.
• Level 3 Teaching assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Patience and empathy.
• Resilience.
• Experience with challenge behaviour.
