​Teachers and teaching assistants work in demanding settings, and the demands come from many directions at once. Getting pupils to get on with their work while making sure you are not taken for a ride means walking a narrow line between hostile and passive, and that line gets harder to hold the less engaging the work is.

When pupils are challenging, it is easy to become angry or to give up on a child. Being assertive, getting pupils to meet expectations without being bossy, keeps you professional and gives you the best chance of success. This webinar shows how to avoid both hostile and passive styles and stay assertive.

Before You Book
