​A one-day course designed to help new Cover Supervisors with limited relevant experience understand essential classroom approaches and the strategies to implement them. The course covers:

• Removing Barriers to Learning

• Expectations & Assertiveness

• Jargon & Intervention

• Behaviour Management

• Summary

This course must be completed before inexperienced Cover Supervisors are placed, in line with compliance guidance. Cover Supervisors are expected to have a degree-level education and some experience leading groups of children.If you are unable to fully attend from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., please rebook for a time when you are available and can participate throughout.
