Location: Spalding & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £85.44 - £101.58 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Day-to-Day Supply, Part-Time & Long-Term Opportunities (with the potential to secure a permanent role)

Simply Education is looking for caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Spalding and the surrounding areas from September. These roles offer the opportunity to make a genuine impact by providing tailored support that helps children overcome barriers to learning, celebrate small victories and grow in confidence every day.

The Role

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide dedicated support to a pupil throughout the school day.
  • Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and learning styles.
  • Build a trusting relationship that encourages confidence, independence and engagement.
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and parents to support the pupil's progress.
  • Promote positive behaviour using consistent and encouraging strategies.
  • Help pupils access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
  • Is patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
  • Has a calm and encouraging approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Can work independently while being part of a wider school team.
  • Holds a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
