Simply Education is delighted to be working with a fantastic secondary school in High Wycombe that is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about encouraging creativity, self-expression, and artistic development in young people. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students to explore their imagination while developing their technical skills and confidence within the arts.

The Role

As an Art Teacher, you will:

🎨 Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

🎨 Encourage students to develop their creativity, confidence, and artistic abilities

🎨 Create a stimulating classroom environment where students feel motivated to express themselves

🎨 Plan and deliver innovative lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities

🎨 Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement

🎨 Contribute to extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and wider school events where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

✔ Experience teaching Art within a UK secondary school setting

✔ Strong classroom management and communication skills

✔ A genuine passion for the arts and creative education

✔ The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

✔ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
