Our welcoming and successful primary school in Colchester is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our friendly team from June 2026.

The Role

As a Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assessing, recording, and monitoring pupil progress
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Contributing to the wider life of the school community
• Promoting high standards in Education and training through excellent classroom practice

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
• Has a passion for teaching and learning
