About the Role

As a Class Teacher, you will inspire and motivate pupils through engaging and creative lessons that challenge every child to reach their full potential. You will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn.

Working collaboratively with experienced colleagues and an outstanding Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's excellent standards while contributing to the wider life of the school.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Differentiate learning to ensure all pupils, including those with SEND and higher-attaining learners, achieve success.

  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and targeted interventions.

  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes independence, creativity and a love of learning.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance.

  • Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings and school events.

  • Work collaboratively with year group teams to share planning and best practice.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and wider school improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records and complete reports within agreed deadlines.

  • Promote safeguarding and ensure the welfare of all pupils at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has a thorough understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and high expectations for every child.

  • Has a genuine passion for education and training.

  • Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.

  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

  • Is committed to continuous professional development and career progression.
