About the Role

As a Class Teacher, you will deliver engaging, creative and inspiring lessons that enable every child to achieve their full potential. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel safe, valued and motivated to succeed.

Working closely with experienced colleagues and a highly supportive Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to maintaining the school's outstanding standards while helping to shape the future success of every pupil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.

  • Assess, monitor and evaluate pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and targeted interventions.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL and higher-attaining learners.

  • Establish high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development.

  • Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.

  • Work collaboratively with year group teams to share planning, resources and best practice.

  • Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings and school events.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and wider school improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records and complete reports within agreed timescales.

  • Promote safeguarding and ensure the welfare of every child at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has an excellent understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.

  • Demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and high expectations for all learners.

  • Has a genuine passion for education and training and continuous professional development.

  • Possesses excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

  • Is committed to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

  • Has the drive and enthusiasm to contribute to the wider life of the school.
