Teaching Assistant - Thrapston
Salary: £22,759.34 - £25,331.46 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Simply Education are working with a school who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team in Thrapston.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in an alternative education setting, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
The Role
- Support pupils in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement.
- Help create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting.
- An understanding of supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
