The Role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

✅ Deliver engaging and creative Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
✅ Inspire students to develop their understanding of programming, coding, networks, cybersecurity, and digital technologies
✅ Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
✅ Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the department
✅ Promote high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
✔ Experience teaching Computer Science within a UK secondary school setting
✔ A strong understanding of the current Computer Science curriculum
✔ Excellent classroom management skills
✔ A passion for technology and education
✔ A commitment to raising student attainment and engagement
✔ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
