The school is looking for an individual who can bring Design & Technology to life through engaging lessons and hands-on learning experiences.

About the Role

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:

🔹 Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
🔹 Encourage students to think creatively, solve problems, and develop practical skills
🔹 Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities
🔹 Foster a safe and productive workshop environment
🔹 Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
🔹 Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the department and wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
✔ Experience teaching Design & Technology within a UK secondary school setting
✔ Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative learning
✔ Excellent classroom management and communication skills
✔ A commitment to raising standards and supporting student success
✔ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
