An ambitious secondary school in Kent is seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Director of Learning for Computer Science to lead and develop a thriving department.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Computer Science teacher ready to take the next step into leadership, or an established middle leader looking for a fresh challenge in a supportive and progressive school environment.

The Role

You will:

• Lead and develop the Computer Science curriculum across KS3-KS5
• Drive outstanding teaching, learning and student outcomes
• Support, coach and inspire departmental staff
• Monitor progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
• Promote innovation and digital learning across the department
• Contribute to the wider leadership and development of the school

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds QTS and a relevant degree
• Has a strong track record of teaching Computer Science at secondary level
• Has leadership experience or the ambition to step into leadership
• Is passionate about curriculum development and student achievement
• Can motivate and inspire both students and staff
• Has excellent organisational and communication skills
