As our Rochester branch continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our successful team.

The Role

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with schools and education professionals, helping to match talented candidates with temporary, long-term and permanent opportunities.

This is a fast-paced, rewarding role that combines sales, recruitment and relationship management. You'll have the opportunity to develop your own client portfolio while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with primary, secondary and SEND schools across Kent and the surrounding areas.
• Source, interview and register teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
• Match candidates to suitable vacancies based on their skills, experience and career goals.
• Proactively generate new business through calls, meetings, networking and referrals.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial enquiry through to successful placement.
• Ensure all safeguarding, compliance and vetting checks are completed in line with industry standards.
• Provide ongoing support to both clients and candidates throughout each placement.
• Meet individual and team performance targets while delivering outstanding customer service.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about building relationships and helping people find rewarding careers.
• Confident communicating with clients and candidates both over the phone and face-to-face.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
• Target-driven with a positive and resilient attitude.
• Experienced in recruitment, sales, account management or customer service (education recruitment experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided).
• A team player with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
