The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and ambitious English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Have the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5, depending on experience and expertise.
• Inspire students through a rich and diverse curriculum that promotes critical thinking, creativity and academic excellence.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the ongoing development of teaching and learning within the department.
• Support the school's wider enrichment programme, including reading initiatives, creative writing opportunities, debating competitions and literary events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the exceptionally high standards for which the school is known.
