The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and ambitious English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Have the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5, depending on experience and expertise.
- Inspire students through a rich and diverse curriculum that promotes critical thinking, creativity and academic excellence.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and the ongoing development of teaching and learning within the department.
- Support the school's wider enrichment programme, including reading initiatives, creative writing opportunities, debating competitions and literary events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the exceptionally high standards for which the school is known.
