The Role:

• Deliver lessons on English language and literature
• Encourage reading for pleasure in younger students.
• Demonstrate effective essay-writing and analysis techniques.
• Provide regular feedback for students' improvement.
• Prepare students for subject examinations like GCSEs and A-Levels.

We're looking for:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• QTS/PGCE qualified.
• Enthusiasm, friendliness and approachability.
• Understanding of the secondary aged English curriculum and pastoral needs.
• Ability in delivering lessons and feedback.
• Confidence in behaviour management skills.
• Flexibility, independence and an ability to work effectively.
