Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Paid in line with the Teachers' Pay Scale
We are seeking a passionate, creative and highly committed EYFS teacher to join our Outstanding 3-form entry primary school in Chelmsford from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS provision in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support all areas of development
- Use continuous provision effectively to maximise learning opportunities
- Observe, assess and accurately track pupil progress
- Use assessment information to inform planning and next steps
- Work collaboratively as part of the EYFS team and wider school staff
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Promote high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
- Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and ongoing improvement
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and early years practice
- Has high expectations for all learners
- Is committed to ongoing professional education and training
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is reflective, creative and passionate about early childhood development
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
