Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS provision in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support all areas of development
• Use continuous provision effectively to maximise learning opportunities
• Observe, assess and accurately track pupil progress
• Use assessment information to inform planning and next steps
• Work collaboratively as part of the EYFS team and wider school staff
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers
• Promote high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
• Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
• Contribute to whole-school initiatives and ongoing improvement

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and early years practice
• Has high expectations for all learners
• Is committed to ongoing professional education and training
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is reflective, creative and passionate about early childhood development
• Works effectively as part of a team
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
