HLTA - Part-Time Long-Term Role - Grantham

Location: Grantham
Pay: £90- £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Part-Time, Long-Term (1-year contract)
Hours: 8:30am - 12:30pm, 5 mornings per week

Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity in the Grantham area? Simply Education is working with a welcoming primary school seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team from September 2026. This is a long-term role for the full academic year, with the possibility of renewal.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic HLTA who enjoys variety in their role and is confident leading classes across different year groups while supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Provide class cover during teacher PPA time, meetings, and planned absences
  • Support pupils' learning, progress, and positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
  • Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

What We're Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification or significant classroom experience
  • Confidence delivering lessons across a range of primary year groups
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A reliable, proactive, and professional approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
