• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Age Group: Key Stage 1

The Role

The successful teacher will take responsibility for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

You should be confident with:

• The KS1 curriculum

• Phonics and early reading

• Supporting early writing and maths

• Differentiating lessons

• Managing behaviour positively

• Assessing and tracking progress

• Working with support staff

• Building relationships with parents and carers

The school is looking for someone who can provide consistency for pupils while their usual teacher is on maternity leave.

Essential Requirements

• QTS

• KS1 teaching experience

• Right to work in the UK

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

• Strong safeguarding knowledge
