An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed KS2 teacher to join our Outstanding 3-form entry primary school in Chelmsford from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Assess, record and report on pupil progress effectively
- Use assessment information to inform teaching and improve outcomes
- Ensure all pupils make strong progress regardless of starting point
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the year group and wider school
- Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
- Foster positive relationships with parents, carers and the wider community
- Support the personal, social and emotional development of pupils
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and subject knowledge
- Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
- Is committed to ongoing professional education and training
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Is reflective, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
