Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Assess, record and report on pupil progress effectively
• Use assessment information to inform teaching and improve outcomes
• Ensure all pupils make strong progress regardless of starting point
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the year group and wider school
• Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
• Foster positive relationships with parents, carers and the wider community
• Support the personal, social and emotional development of pupils

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and subject knowledge
• Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• Is committed to ongoing professional education and training
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Is reflective, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
