Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve high standards

  • Assess, monitor and evaluate pupil progress effectively
  • Use assessment data to inform planning and improve outcomes
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and attainment
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and leadership teams
  • Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement
  • Engage fully in school life, meetings and professional development opportunities

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and subject knowledge
  • Has high expectations for all learners
  • Is committed to ongoing professional education and training
  • Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Works effectively as part of a team
  • Is reflective, adaptable and committed to continual improvement
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
