Cover Supervisor - Long-Term Role

Pay: £110 - £140 (dependant on experience)

Simply Education are currently seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for a long-term opportunity at a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Oldham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to gain valuable school-based experience in a positive and friendly environment.

The Role:

• Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
• Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Providing support to students where needed
• Building positive relationships with staff and pupils

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 6 months' experience working in a UK education setting
• Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, tutoring, youth work or similar setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confident leading groups of students independently
• Flexible, proactive and professional attitude
• Passion for supporting students to succeed
