Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Immediate Start or September 2026

Simply Education is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school in Buckinghamshire that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. The school is able to offer either an immediate start or a September 2026 start for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support professional who is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential within a supportive educational environment.

The Role

• Provide classroom-based support to pupils across a range of year groups
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions where required
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and help them access the curriculum
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement learning plans
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year UK school-based experience
• Previous experience supporting children within an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
• The right to work in the UK
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people in their learning journey
