Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Hykeham area of Lincoln. We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September on a part-time basis, working three days per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping children reach their full potential within a nurturing primary school environment.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across the primary age range, both in and out of the classroom.

  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.

  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.

  • Help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

  • Support children with varying learning needs to achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.

  • Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with suitable experience).

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Is patient, enthusiastic and adaptable.

  • Can work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
