Simply Education is recruiting Pastoral Support Assistants for partner SEND schools in Ellesmere Port.

What the role involves:

• 1:1 mentoring and pastoral support for pupils with SEND and emotional needs
• Early intervention work with pupils at risk of disengagement
• Supporting family liaison and communication with parents
• Working with HOYs and SENCOs to monitor pupil wellbeing
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

What we need from you:

• Background in pastoral support, youth work, mentoring or care
• Warm, consistent and non-judgemental approach
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
