Simply Education is recruiting Pastoral Support Assistants for our partner SEND schools in Crewe.

What the role involves:

• Building relationships with pupils who are disengaged, at risk or struggling emotionally
• Delivering 1:1 mentoring and early intervention support
• Working alongside SENCOs, HOYs and family liaison teams
• Supporting pupils to reconnect with school and learning
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

What we need from you:

• Experience in pastoral support, mentoring, youth work or care
• Warm, calm and non-judgemental
• Strong communication skills with pupils, staff and families
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
