I'm working with a secondary school in the Walderslade area looking for a Performing Arts Teacher to join them from February on a maternity cover basis.

The school is looking for someone with strong Performing Arts subject knowledge who can deliver engaging and practical lessons, alongside particularly strong classroom and behaviour management. Some students can display challenging behaviour or use inappropriate language, so the successful teacher will need to be resilient, calm and confident, able to maintain professional boundaries, not take challenging comments personally and consistently reinforce expectations.

QTS is desirable, however the school will consider an unqualified teacher with extensive Performing Arts teaching experience, strong subject knowledge and the confidence to take ownership of their classes.
