Full-Time Primary Teacher

Simply Education are working in partnership with a wide range of primary schools across Gainsborough and the surrounding areas, and we are looking for a full-time Primary Teacher to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher who enjoys working in different school environments and is happy to take on new challenges. Our partner schools regularly require additional teaching support for PPA cover, staff absences, training days and other short-term staffing needs, meaning no two days are necessarily the same.

We are looking for someone who can be adaptable, build positive relationships quickly and confidently lead lessons, sometimes at relatively short notice.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher working through Simply Education, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and/or KS2.
• Provide PPA cover and support schools during staff absences and training days.
• Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups and classroom environments.
• Take responsibility for classroom management and pupil engagement.
• Follow existing lesson plans and deliver with enthusiasm.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and schools.
• Be flexible and willing to get stuck in wherever support is needed.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching in KS1, KS2, or both.
• Is confident leading a classroom independently.
• Has strong classroom management skills.
• Is adaptable, reliable and able to respond positively to changing requirements.
• Is comfortable working across different primary school settings.
• Can step into lessons at potentially short notice and deliver high-quality teaching.
• Has a genuine passion for supporting children to learn and achieve.
