Simply Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH and SEN school in Winsford for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

About the School
The school is a specialist SEMH and SEN setting, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD, and additional learning needs. Through a nurturing, trauma-informed approach, the school empowers pupils to overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence, and achieve success both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will be teaching pupils working at a Primary curriculum level, delivering engaging and creative lessons tailored to individual needs and abilities.

The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the Primary Curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet a wide range of needs and abilities
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
- Use innovative strategies to engage pupils who may have experienced barriers to education
- Celebrate every achievement, no matter how small
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within a Primary setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable Experience
- SEN, SEND, SEMH, or Alternative Provision experience
- Autism (ASC) and ADHD awareness
- Trauma-informed practice
- Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs
