Simply Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist education provider in Surrey for a School Caretaker / Maintenance Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced caretaker, maintenance professional or tradesperson looking for a varied, rewarding role where your work has a real impact on young people's learning environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of two school sites, ensuring the buildings, grounds and facilities remain safe, compliant and well maintained. Working alongside the Premises & Compliance Manager, you'll carry out repairs, planned maintenance, health & safety checks and support ongoing site improvement projects.

We're looking for:

• Previous experience in maintenance, caretaking, facilities or building services
• Good knowledge of general repairs, maintenance and grounds upkeep
• Understanding of Health & Safety and compliance procedures
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Good IT and communication skills
