Primary Teacher - Year 8 (Primary to Secondary Lower Level)
Simply Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join a highly supportive and well-established specialist provision in the Liverpool area on a temp-to-perm basis.
This award-winning school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural difficulties. The successful candidate will teach a Year 8 class of pupils working at primary to lower secondary academic levels, delivering an engaging and differentiated curriculum that meets each learner's individual needs. The school is committed to providing high-quality teaching alongside personalised care and support, helping every pupil achieve academically, develop socially and emotionally, and gain the confidence needed for future success.

The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within a primary setting or supporting pupils working below age-related expectations
- Have experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or additional learning needs
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and effective de-escalation strategies
- Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their teaching approach
- Be committed to supporting both academic progress and pupils' emotional wellbeing
- Be confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of learning abilities
