Simply Education is recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants for our partner SEND schools in Winsford.

What the role involves:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs including anxiety, trauma and emotional dysregulation
• 1:1 and small group support using de-escalation and restorative techniques
• Building consistent, trusted relationships with pupils
• Working alongside teachers and pastoral leads
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

What we need from you:

• Experience with SEMH in schools, residential care or youth work
• Calm, grounded and professionally resilient
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Team Teach or equivalent training is useful but not essential
