SEMH Teaching Assistant - Wilmslow, Cheshire

£95-£110 per day (DOE) | Daily Supply and Long-term | Immediate Start Available

Simply Education is recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants for our partner SEND schools in Wilmslow.

These roles are for people who understand SEMH, who don't take behaviour personally and who can be the calm, consistent presence a young person needs.

What the role involves:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a specialist or resourced provision
• Using de-escalation and restorative approaches
• Building trusted relationships that support re-engagement
• Working with teachers and pastoral staff
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

What we need from you:

• SEMH experience in schools, youth work or residential care
• Calm, boundaried and emotionally resilient
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
