SEN Teaching Assistant - Swanley
Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in a supportive primary school setting?
Simply Education is currently recruiting for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a welcoming Primary School in Swanley, part of a well-established trust with excellent support and opportunities for development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for confident and proactive individuals who have experience supporting children in education and are passionate about making a difference to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The Role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support
Assisting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Supporting with behaviour management and emotional regulation where needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
A valid DBS on the Update Service
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
