SEN Teaching Assistants - Dartford

We are working with a number of supportive and inclusive primary schools across Dartford who are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join them on a full-time basis.

These are long-term roles, working 5 days a week, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies
  • Helping to manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
  • Adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN in primary schools (mainstream or specialist settings)
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Confidence working with a range of additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
