SEN Teaching Assistants (ASD & ADHD) - Dartford

We are working with a range of supportive primary schools across Dartford who are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day and short-term cover.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility, while still making a real impact supporting pupils with ASD and ADHD.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and ADHD
  • Supporting pupils with focus, engagement and emotional regulation
  • Adapting quickly to different classroom environments and routines
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
  • Promoting a calm, consistent and supportive learning environment
  • Supporting behaviour in a positive and proactive way

What we're looking for:

  • Experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD in primary schools
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • A calm, patient and resilient attitude
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
