Simply Education is recruiting SEND Support Workers for partner specialist schools in Macclesfield.

If you've got a background in care, support work or education and you're looking to move into a school-based SEND role, we can help you make that transition.

What the role involves:

• Supporting pupils with complex SEND needs in a specialist school environment
• Delivering personalised support in line with EHCPs and support plans
• Helping pupils access learning, develop independence and regulate emotions
• Working as part of a specialist SEND team
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

What we need from you:

• Experience in SEND, care or support work with young people
• Patient, adaptable and reliable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• School experience is helpful but candidates from care and support backgrounds are welcome
