SEND Teacher - Medway

Simply Education are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to work within specialist SEN schools across the Medway area.

We are seeking experienced teachers who are committed to supporting children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in a rewarding and supportive environment.

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, SEMH, ADHD and complex learning difficulties

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families to maximise pupil progress

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil development and adapting teaching approaches where required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching children with SEND, either within mainstream or specialist settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
