Simply Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive and nurturing alternative provision based within a mainstream school in Marlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEND professional who is committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Working with a small cohort of just 7 pupils aged 4-9 years, you will benefit from the support of 5 experienced Learning Support Assistants within the classroom, allowing you to provide highly personalised and impactful teaching.

About the Role

This unique provision supports children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including non-verbal pupils
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Additional learning and communication difficulties

You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive both academically and emotionally.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Supporting pupils with a wide range of SEND requirements.
  • Working closely with a team of 5 LSAs to provide exceptional classroom support.
  • Developing positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Monitoring progress and adapting learning strategies to maximise outcomes.
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working with SEND pupils.
  • Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD and additional learning needs.
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A patient, compassionate and resilient approach.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
