Simply Education is working with a welcoming primary SEND school in Maidstone that is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their team on a supply basis. The Role
Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team to deliver engaging learning experiences
Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
Encouraging pupils' independence, confidence and social development
Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
Previous experience supporting children with SEND, ideally within a school setting
Experience working within a primary school is desirable
A patient, adaptable and positive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Team Teach training is advantageous but not essential
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Willingness to complete all required safeguarding and compliance checks
