Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Broadstairs? Simply Education is working with a number of welcoming mainstream primary schools seeking dedicated, patient and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs.

The Role
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within mainstream primary classrooms.
Support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and speech and language needs.
Work closely with class teachers and the school's SEND team to help pupils access the curriculum.
Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and engagement in learning.
Adapt to working across different primary year groups and school settings as required.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant within a mainstream primary school or similar setting.
A strong understanding of supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one.
Flexible, reliable and able to travel to schools across the Thanet area.
Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.
A patient, caring and proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
