Simply Education are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to support primary schools across Ashford.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children with additional needs and can provide consistent, positive support both in and outside the classroom.
The Role
Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Working alongside class teachers and the wider support team
Helping pupils access learning and develop their confidence and independence
Supporting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
Adapting activities to meet individual needs
Providing a calm, patient and encouraging approach
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children with SEND in a primary setting
Strong behaviour management skills
Patient, nurturing and confident in supporting individual needs
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Reliable and committed to providing consistency for pupils
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
