Simply Education is recruiting Sports Coaches to work as Teaching Assistants across our partner SEND schools in Crewe. Sport and physical activity are powerful tools in SEND provision, and schools are actively looking for people who can bring that energy into a support role.

No traditional TA experience needed. If you can build relationships, stay calm and use sport to engage young people who find school hard, you're already halfway there.

What's on offer:

What the role involves:

• Using sport, physical activity and structured play to engage pupils with SEND
• Providing classroom and 1:1 support alongside teachers and specialist staff
• Supporting pupils with behaviour, focus and emotional regulation
• Delivering PE and activity sessions where required
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

What we need from you:

• Background in sports coaching, PE, youth sport or physical activity
• Natural ability to build rapport and motivate young people
• Confident, calm and adaptable in a school environment
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Previous SEND or school experience is a bonus but not required
