Simply Education is recruiting Sports Coaches to work as Teaching Assistants in SEND schools across Crewe from September.

If sport is your background and working with young people is your thing, a SEND school environment could be a really strong fit. Schools are actively looking for coaches who can bring structure, positivity and physical activity into a support role.

What the role involves:

• Using sport and physical activity to engage pupils with SEND
• Classroom and 1:1 support alongside teaching and pastoral staff
• Helping pupils develop focus, confidence and regulation through activity
• Delivering PE and movement sessions where appropriate
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

What we need from you:

• Coaching or PE background with experience working with young people
• Positive, patient and adaptable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• SEND experience is helpful but full training and support will be provided
