Supply Teacher - Primary Schools | Colchester

As a Supply Teacher, you will have the flexibility to choose assignments that suit your schedule while gaining valuable experience across a variety of welcoming and supportive school settings in Colchester. The Role

• Daily, short-term, and long-term teaching opportunities
• Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Deliver engaging lessons across primary age groups
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and learning environments
• Opportunities available with and without planning and marking responsibilities

Daily Supply Expectations

If you are seeking daily ad hoc work as a Supply Teacher, you must be available from 7:00am to receive same-day supply bookings on the days you have marked as available on your weekly availability calendar. Your designated consultant will send this calendar out each week to support your preferences and availability.

Requirements

• Fully qualified teacher status with QTS essential
• Recent classroom experience within UK primary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for education and training
• Flexible, professional, and reliable approach
• Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service

If you do not currently hold a DBS on the Update Service, the agency can process one for you.

Pay Rates

• £130 - £150 per day for roles without planning and marking responsibilities
• Higher daily rates available for teachers taking on full teaching responsibilities
