The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality classroom cover across a range of primary settings.

For daily sickness and emergency cover assignments, we expect teachers who have marked themselves as available for work to be up, ready and contactable to receive supply calls on those days. Reliability and punctuality are essential, as schools rely on us to provide quality cover at short notice.

For short-term and long-term placements, you will be expected to fully commit yourself to the school and become an integral part of the teaching team. Depending on the requirements of the school, responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Marking pupils' work
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• Taking full responsibility for your class
• Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents where required

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Supply Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Has experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Can adapt quickly to different school environments
• Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
• Is committed to ongoing professional education and training
• Is reliable, organised and passionate about primary education
