Salary: £32,916 - £47,472 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus

Simply Education is working with a specialist school in Reading seeking a dedicated Teacher to support students aged 11-16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The Role
You will:
- Deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons tailored to individual learners
- Support pupils academic progress, wellbeing, and independence
- Work closely with support staff and the Senior Leadership Team
- Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement
- Help create a positive, nurturing learning environment

Key Responsibilities
- Lead teaching and learning for assigned pupils, ensuring progress and wellbeing
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Supervise, mentor, and support classroom staff
- Take curriculum leadership responsibility, including:
- Monitoring standards
- Supporting colleagues
- Advising on resources
- Leading CPD sessions
- Contribute to whole-school planning and development
- Uphold the school's values and therapeutic approach in daily practice
What We're Looking For
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent
- A passion for SEN education
- Experience in SEN/ASD settings (desirable)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Confidence adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
