The role

• Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and assess learning effectively in line with curriculum expectations
• Inspire students to achieve their full academic potential
• Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
• Support the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities

The ideal candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching English within a secondary setting
• Possesses strong classroom management skills
• Has a passion for English Language and Literature
• Demonstrates high expectations of behaviour and achievement
• Is committed to continuous professional development
