Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Gravesend to recruit a qualified Teacher of Food Technology for a full-time supply position starting in September 2026 through to October half term.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Food Technology teacher looking for a rewarding short-term role within a supportive department.

The Role

• Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons.
• Full planning, preparation, and marking responsibilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Design & Technology department.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has recent experience teaching Food Technology in UK secondary schools.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is confident planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
• Can commit to a full-time role from September through to October half term.
• Is fully compliant and ready to start in September.
