Teaching Assistant - September Start
Medway

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity this September?

We are working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Medway who are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. These opportunities offer the chance to make a real difference to pupils' learning and development while becoming a valued member of a school team.

This role would suit experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, or individuals with relevant experience working with children who are looking to build a career within education.

The Role:

Supporting pupils in the classroom with their learning and development.
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines.
Working flexibly across different year groups when needed.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
A positive, patient and proactive approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Flexibility and willingness to support across different classes and age groups.
A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
