Simply Education are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Maidstone.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting their learning and helping them to develop both academically and personally.

The Role

• Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom

• Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis

• Supporting children with their learning and development

• Helping to prepare and organise classroom resources

• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

• Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra guidance

• Working closely with teachers and other support staff

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting

• A patient, caring and positive approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Able to support pupils across different year groups

• Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team

• Experience working with SEND pupils would be beneficial

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
